Jeff Lynne plays for George Harrison

On November, 29th 2002, exactly one year after George Harrison died from cancer, there will be a charity concert to honour the great musician in London's Royal Albert Hall. Expected to appear besides Jeff Lynne are - among others - Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton and maybe Bob Dylan.

No surprise all tickets for the concert were sold out after just one hour. For millionaires there are still tickets available on the black market.

Well, it really is something special to have the surviving Beatles and the surviving Traveling Wilburys on one stage.

If you didn't get a ticket, don't be sad. There is a small consolation prize for you. The concert will taped for television.

Electric Light Orchestra
Tour 2001

Unfortunately the E.L.O. tour 2001 in the United States has been cancelled. We all hope they will come to Europe anyway. At least a few TV appearences would be nice.

The only way we can enjoy E.L.O. live at the moment is by watching televison. VH1-Storytellers (recorded on April 20th) was aired in the US on June 15th.

On May 23rd and 24th E.L.O. recorded 2 live shows for Televison in Burbank, California. They are shown on televison in the US at the moment and will probably be released on video and DVD end of October / beginning of November.

The Orchestra
England Tour 2001

From October 14th to October 20th there was a short UK tour
of "The Orchestra" (formerly known as E.L.O. Part II).

More iour information, when they are available.
or at The Orchestra.
